The mission of this Role: As the Global Cyber Defense Manager, you will play a critical role in safeguarding our organization's digital assets, ensuring the protection of sensitive information and the integrity of our security infrastructure on a global scale. This role involves overseeing the security operations center, responding to security incidents, managing threat intelligence, vulnerability management, and digital forensics on a global scale. You will report directly to the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) and be responsible for building and maintaining a robust defense strategy to protect Visteon.

Key Objectives of this Role: • Security Operations Center (SOC) Management:
Lead and manage a global team of security professionals in the SOC.Ensure the 24/7 monitoring, detection, and response to security incidents across various time zones.Establish and enforce standard operating procedures for SOC operations.Develop and execute an effective incident response plan on a global scale.Coordinate with cross-functional teams worldwide to contain and mitigate security incidents.Analyze incidents to improve the organization's security posture across geographies.Stay informed about the latest global cyber threats, vulnerabilities, and attack techniques.Collaborate with threat intelligence sources globally to proactively identify potential threats.Incorporate threat intelligence into the security strategy and response plans across regions.• Vulnerability Management:
Develop and maintain a comprehensive global vulnerability management program.Prioritize and remediate vulnerabilities based on risk assessment across the organization's worldwide footprint.Coordinate with relevant stakeholders in different regions to ensure timely patching and mitigation.Lead digital forensics investigations on a global scale in response to security incidents.Preserve and analyze digital evidence across multiple jurisdictions to understand the nature and scope of incidents.Generate detailed reports on security incidents, vulnerabilities, and threat trends, providing insights to senior management for informed decision-making and strategic planning.Key Objectives of this Role:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/ Engineering or a related field (e.g., Cyber Security) or equivalent work experience. Advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., GCIH, GCFA, CISSP, CISM, CISA) are a plus.
• Proven experience in managing a Security Operations Center (SOC), preferably in a global and publicly US traded company (a minimum of 8 years of experience).
• Extensive experience in responding effectively to security incidents, including containment, eradication, and recovery, on a global scale.
• Strong knowledge of threat intelligence and the ability to apply it to enhance security practices globally.
• Expertise in vulnerability management, including vulnerability scanning, assessment, and remediation processes on a global level.
• In-depth knowledge of digital forensics techniques, tools, and procedures.
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and mentor security professionals in diverse geographic locations.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, as this role involves working with various teams and stakeholders across the globe.
• Up-to-date knowledge of cybersecurity trends, threats, and best practices on a global scale.
• A commitment to maintaining the highest ethical standards and confidentiality when handling sensitive information, considering the diverse legal and regulatory requirements in different regions.
