The purpose of the role is to leverage advanced expertise to architect, develop, and optimize robust solutions. As a Senior Engineer, the primary focus is on leading and mentoring team members, contributing to the overall technical strategy, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, scalable software. This role requires a deep understanding of frameworks, proficiency in problem-solving, and a commitment to maintaining coding standards and best practices. The Senior Engineer is pivotal in driving innovation, collaborating cross-functionally, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement within the development domain.
Responsibilities Architect and Design Solutions: Take a lead role in designing robust and scalable Java Spring applications, ensuring architectural coherence and alignment with project requirements. Code Development and Review: Actively contribute to the development of complex features and functionalities, conducting thorough code reviews to ensure code quality, adherence to coding standards, and knowledge transfer within the team. Technical Leadership and Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship team members, fostering a collaborative and knowledge-sharing environment. Lead by example in adopting best practices and emerging technologies within the platform ecosystem. Performance Optimization: Identify and address performance bottlenecks in Java Spring applications, leveraging profiling tools and optimization techniques to enhance system efficiency and response times. Must-Have Skills & Criteria Proficiency in advanced Java development and extensive experience with the Spring framework, demonstrating the ability to architect and implement complex solutions. Strong understanding and application of design patterns, integration patterns and adherence to software principles such as SOLID, KISS, DRY, Fail-Fast Proven experience in TDD and BDD methodologies, showcasing the ability to write robust test cases and collaborate effectively with QA teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage. Proficient in applying DDD principles to design and develop domain-centric solutions, fostering a shared understanding of the business domain within the team. Comprehensive knowledge and hands-on experience in all phases of the SDLC, from requirements analysis and design to implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance. Proficiency in defining and managing infrastructure as a code, ensuring consistency and reproducibility in deployment processes. Ability to implement monitoring solutions as code, integrating monitoring tools seamlessly into the application architecture for proactive issue identification and resolution.
