Job Purpose The Legal Contract Manager will ensure compliance with legal requirements and managing contracts. Identify legal risks associated with contractual agreements, including intellectual property rights, indemnification clauses and liability issues. Maintain accurate and organized records of all contracts, amendments in a centralized database. Collaborate with internal teams, providing legal support and guidance to internal teams on contractual matters.Key AccountabilitiesManaging MLTX business contract queriesTracking contract obligations and compliance statusRecording and managing key information about contractsCollecting and filing contracts and related documentsAdvising so reviews and approvals can be carried out in accordance with MLTX policies and proceduresDrafting and reviewing certain contract typesSupporting internal teams on contractual issues/queriesThe types of contracts and documents will include:Client contracts including master service agreements.Requests for proposals (RFPs)Subcontracts and other supplier contractsEmployment contracts & policiesConfidentiality agreements/non-disclosure agreements (NDAs)Amendments and change ordersA variety of other miscellaneous commercial documents.Your profile Education: University's degree, preferably in a Law or other relevant experienceExperience: Minimum 5 years' experience as a contract manager, handling complex client/customer contracts, supplier contracts including subcontracts and other contractsSkills/knowledge/behavioural competencies:Eager to learn and take on responsibilityAbility to recognize issues and the commitment to follow through to see that they are resolvedWell-organizedAbility to make thoughtful and disciplined decisionsCreative problem-solving skillsExcellent English & Portuguese verbal and written communication, including a strong phone and video conference presence (another foreign language would be an advantage)Empathetic with the ability to see things from someone else's perspectiveAbility to work collaboratively with legal counsels and other Legal Department members, Partners, Project Analysts and staffProfessional demeanor and sensitivity to client relationshipsAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a high paced environmentWorking understanding of key commercial contract and risk management conceptsBasic understanding of business entities and corporate/organizational structure conceptsWork Location: 2 days a week in our brand new Porto OfficeYou must have the permanent right to work in Portugal to be considered for this positionWhy us?
