2024-05-01 Full time Contrato Trabalho Temporário We are currently recruiting for our client who is an international leader in the field of plant engineering and they are looking for a Construction NDT and Welding Inspector for their new project located in Sines, available to start immediately.Main Responsibilities:The NWI operatively reports to the Construction Quality Manager.To witness the welding coupon and destructive non-destructive test execution on shop or at Laboratories for preparation of Procedure Qualification Record (PQR);To support the Home office Welding Group during cycle for the approval of Procedure Qualification Record (PQR), Welding Procedure Specification (WPS) and PWHT procedure;To witness the Subcontractor Welder Qualification process;To check that welding material respects the requirements of the approved WPS;To check that welding machines and ovens are continuously calibrated;To check that shop and field welds are performed in compliance with PROJECT specifications and with approved WPS/PQR, NDE and PWHT Procedures, etc.;To witness the execution of non-destructive tests, heat treatment and hardness test;To check the execution of positive material identification test;To grant that welding activities and the tests are recorded by Subcontractors in the welding data base;To check that all repairs are performed correctly, and non-destructive tests are regularly repeated;To obtain any necessary approval from Home Office Welding Group for deviation, as appropriate, to welding procedures and for performing repairs requiring special procedures;To verify the adequacy of information on NDE Reports;To verify that adequate and valid welder approvals are available and that only approved welders as required are used in production.Ideal Profile:3 years in equivalent position in medium/big size construction sites;Bachelor´s degree;Fluent in English;Availability to work fully on-site in Sines (Mon-Fri).Three level II qualifications according to ISO 9712:VTPT or MTRT or UTPlus: CSWIP 3.1 qualification.Conditions:Attractive salary conditions;Meal card: 350€/monthly gross.#pt_whc Industria de Gás & Petróleo Engenharia 88957 Sines - Setúbal A empresa está autorizada a exercer a atividade de trabalho temporário pelo Alvará 783/15 emitido em 1 de Setembro de 2015 pelo Presidente do Conselho Diretivo do Instituto de Emprego e Formação Profissional.O exercício da atividade de recrutamento e seleção está devidamente autorizada pelo Instituto de Emprego e Formação Profissional, constando do Registo Nacional de Agências, previsto no artº 19º do DL 260/2009, de 25 de Setembro, com as respetivas alterações.
