Construction Manager | Oil & Gas / Energy | Portugal / Iberia Long-term Contract
We are looking for an ambitious and driven Construction Manager to take a long-term position within a global capital project execution function of a major international owner-operator currently planning and executing significant investment programmes.

This is a position for a construction management professional looking to oversee technically complex mission-critical projects. Those who have demonstrated capabilities to manage and coordinate high-performing construction teams in the planning and execution of industrial construction deliverables and the coordination of all engineering, subcontractor, and other key vendor activities will find this role an opportunity to further develop and add further prestigious projects to their portfolio.
Overview of Responsibilities: Manage site-based activities across a multitude of disciplinesEnsure construction activities are fully compliant with company and project standards.Surveillance of subcontractor and supplier activities within their respective work scopes.Development and maintenance of the construction plan and other key project documentsReview Constructability documentation and support engineering activitiesThe Ideal Candidate should be/have: Previous experience in Oil & Gas/Chemical/Petrochemical/Hydrogen projectsPrevious experience in Iberian based projects Previous experience managing high-level stakeholder relationshipsPrevious experience managing multi-discipline construction teams (i.e. CSA/Mechanical/EC&I/HSE)Fluency in English, Portuguese, and SpanishPrevious experience working on project-based contractsIf you are interested in finding out more about this position, please apply for the role or send your details and CV directly to Antony Fairclough or via the ENG Bauen website.
