Represent Visteon towards our suppliers, and act as escalation point for supplier issues. Drive supplier performance towards KPI targets. Major KPI being cost performance, and so understanding of cost drivers, and ability to negotiate win:win solutions is key. Working as part of our global team, with suppliers distributed globally.Learn Visteon, Suppliers, and technology.Become effective member of team.Take lead on global negotiations, and grow experience and respect with global stakeholders.Key Objectives of this Role:Supporting and driving Purchasing Objectives during Gate 0 / 1 reviews;Drive Commodity bid lists updates;Use relevant technical requirements and work with key suppliers to find optimum trade-offs for lowest total cost solution utilizing the TQCM initiative;Responsible for the development and implementation of commodity strategies to delivery maximum competitive advantage;Benchmarking, rationalization, development and management of critical and strategic suppliers;Supplier evaluation and selection, and relationship management;Support new business pursuits and maintain database of key supplier technology capabilities;Execute best in class sourcing process to secure sourcing nomination of optimal total cost solution to support Visteon programs, through regional/global supplier quotations, negotiations and successful contract management;Qualification, Experience and Skills :University Degree, Business Management or similar preferred2.5 years in responsible roles within an international business environment and procurement/purchasing lead experienceProven knowledge of category strategiesValue Chain analysisEffective presentation skills and Strong communication skillsAdvanced interpersonal skills and experience in multidisciplinary and cross-functional teamsEnglish fluent, second foreign language skills a plusKey behaviours:Lead from the frontBuild strong teamsLead the marketCommunicationSelf-driven/accountableCritical thinkingReporting Structure:This role will report to theGlobal Category manager.Visteon Culture : If you thrive in a fast-paced, organizational culture that requires agility, adaptability, and a growth mindset from its employees to thrive and stay ahead of the curve Visteon is the place.
