The mission of the Civil / Structural Project Engineer is to oversee the civil engineering aspects of construction and infrastructure development for the project, and ensure the successful implementation of civil and structural engineering solutions (incl. site preparation and structural design). The main responsabilities are: Civil and Structural design and engineering, ensuring constructability, efficiency, reliability, maintainability and cost-effectiveness. Establish and enforce general, design and civil/structural specifications throughout the project lifecycle. Understand local codes and standards and ensure their implementation and compliance. Act as the primary point of contact with EPCMs and manage the relevant aspects of the projects with them. Conduct site assessments to determine the feasibility and suitability of the construction site, including Geotechnical and Topographical studies. Monitor progress in all civil/structural engineering works, coordinating the different project stakeholders (incl. other engineers and construction teams). Conduct inspections and monitor quality, ensuring compliance to project schedules, design specifications, fabrication and construction standards. Oversee construction activities, including earthworks, foundation construction, structural elements, and utility installations. Develop and/or review construction methodologies to ensure safe, logical, efficient and effective construction and erection activities. Provide technical support to the Project, Construction and Commissioning teams during the installation and commissioning of mechanical equipment, ensuring that installations align with design specifications. Requirements BSc/ MSc degree in civil engineering or related field. 10+ years of experience in civil/structural engineering roles focused on construction and infrastructure development. Experience in managing civil/structural engineering works within industrial or manufacturing projects. Knowledge and expertise in civil and structural engineering principles and construction practices. Knowledge of Building Information Modeling (BIM) software (Tekla, Revit as preferable). Knowledge of environmental sustainability practices and regulations in civil engineering. Strong understanding of safety protocols and risk management in construction projects. Collaboration and communication abilities to work effectively with contractors, suppliers, and other project stakeholders. To be able to work entirely in English.
