Job DescriptionThe PositionThe Associate Director, EUCAN Procurement Operations Lead - reporting to the Executive Director, EUCAN Sourcing & Procurement Lead - is responsible for Procurement Operations of the EUCAN region which includes Central North Europe cluster (Germany, Austria, UK, the Netherlands and Nordics), Eastern Europe & Israel cluster, Mid Europe cluster (France, Switzerland, Belgium, Luxembourg), Spain-Portugal, Italy and Canada.ResponsibilitiesSpecifically, this role will include the responsibilities outlined below:- The set-up and Leadership of a team of both external and internal resource while ensuring the team delivers on its commitments.- The coordination of Sourcing (RFI, RFP & Proposal analysis) and contracting activities - The operationalization of Category strategies - The management of EUCAN contracts & tools including expiring contracts, contract templates, contract repository, catalogs and guided-buying - The delivery of relevant value-creation/saving targets - The management and improvement of the end to end Source to Settle process within the region - The management of supplier on-boarding escalations and monitoring of Third Party Due-diligence refreshes- The coordination and execution of Third Party Spend Analytics, reporting and data clean-up- The Engagement and Management of stakeholders - The monitoring of Procurement Process Compliance within the region acting as a Sourcing & Contracting Process & Policy champion - The Monitoring of EUCAN Procurement performance (including Procurement KPI management)Required Education, Experience, and Skills 10+ years Procurement working experienceStrong market-knowledge across indirect categories and experience working in an international and cross-functional environment.Strong sourcing, contract-negotiation & Supplier Relationship Management skillsAbility to understand a global long-term vision based on a thorough understanding of industry trends and opportunitiesTeam Management skills and experienceStrong analytical skills, ability to analyze large complex data sets to derive relevant intelligence in developing sourcing strategies or supporting negotiationsAdvanced ability to partner, collaborate and impact decisions at all levels within and outside the organizationProven ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a dynamic environment.Demonstrated ability to think out of the box and find innovative solutions whilst working in an ambiguous, transformational business environmentStrong communication, presentation and influencing skillsCreative, self-starter and bias for action.English language fluency - with additional EU language preferred.Secondary Job DescriptionWho We Are: Organon delivers ingenious health solutions that enable people to live their best lives.
