We are currently looking for a new member for the Planning & Reporting team to join us in the position of Analyst, Planning & Reporting.
Working Place: Sonae Sierra's Central Offices in Maia
Requirements Degree in Economics, Management or similar Between 2 to 4 years of experience in Financial Controlling, Reporting or similar Experience at a BIG4 will be a plus Knowledge and interest in financial accounting matters Advanced knowledge of Excel and SAP knowledge would be a plus Solid problem-solving/logic reasoning and good analytical skills Critical stance, proactivity, and attention to detail Organizational and planning capabilities, having the ability to work in a dynamic environment with changing circumstances Good communication and relational skills, being comfortable working independently as well as in a team Responsibilities: Preparation and analysis of the consolidated accounts of a business unit(s), through a management perspective, to be reported on a quarterly basis to the Board of Directors. Perform ad-hoc analyses according to the needs of the several stakeholders, which include Board, business unit(s) representatives and shareholders. Business understanding: keeps track of ongoing business performance by performing analysis to support decision making process. Regular contact with business unit(s) representatives to know which business events might impact the financial statements and answer their doubts regarding the delivered reports. Assist the business unit(s) on the budgeting process and 5-year strategic plan (from the financial perspective).
