The purpose of this entry level position is to ensure timely and accurate collections of Accounts Receivable, preparing weekly statements and liaising with customer in relation to issue resolution. Responsibilities WHAT YOU'LL DO • Deliver on agreed KPIs and other targets for the AR-team • Weekly reconciliation of receivables prior to sending statements • Sending weekly statements (Tuesday and Wednesday) • Sending payment reminders to delinquent customers/past due balances • Follow-up calls related to past due balances. • Tracking payment details with customers for unapplied cash transactions • Payment confirmations for cargo release at Port • Processing and tracking of refunds. • Reconciliation and cleaning of past due balances over 16 days • Review follow up and resolution of aged balances >180 days Qualifications WHAT YOU'LL NEED • University degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Economics or related field • Minimum 1 year of previous experience working in Finance or Accounting area • Excellent analytical skills along with the ability to communicate findings • Organized and multi-task oriented • Assertive, can "push" for action when needed • Detailed oriented with high level of concentration and process compliance • Collaborative, problem solving attitude towards all stakeholders (internal and external) • Ability to analyze big data sets ABOUT US Wallenius Wilhelmsen is an iconic shipping and logistics company with premium end-to-end supply chain management.
