Job DescriptionMain Responsibilities:
Process and review invoices, making sure all the fiscal requirements are metObtain proper invoice information and clarify any questionable invoice itemsMatch invoice with Purchase Orders and Goods ReceiptsMonitor the process of invoice-approving to ensure that invoices are settledVerify and investigate discrepancies, if any, by reconciling vendor accounts and monthly vendor statementsProcess transactions and perform accounting duties such as account maintenance, record entries and reconcile account booksProtect businesses against unintentional or fraudulent paymentsSet-up and maintain suppliers on the ERP systemPeriodically report activities to managerAssist in streamlining and improving the accounts payable processQualificationsDegree in Accounting, Finance or other relevant area3 to 5 years' previous experience in similar roleSolid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting principlesPrevious experience with multiple VAT jurisdictions is a plusAnalytical mindset and strong organizational skillsProactive, highly motivated and flexibleStrong communication skills to interact with several stakeholdersExcellent verbal and written English communication skills (mandatory)Excellent knowledge of MS Office, namely MS Excel, and SAP ERP (mandatory)Resident in Ovar or nearby areaAdditional informationWhat do we offer you?
