MIKUTA is currently one of the fastest-growing direct-to-consumer brands in the fashion market.Our Team is spread across Europe, with a Studio Office in Berlin and a production Office in northern Portugal. We are currently working with Spring, Summer, Fall & Winter Collection cycles and soon grow to a product portfolio of more than 300 products.In this dynamic environment, characterized by rapid growth and operational challenges, we're eager to enhance our procurement strategies and refine our ability to forecast future demand accurately.ABOUT THE JOBAs a Senior Purchasing Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in driving our procurement strategy and ensuring the seamless flow of resources for MIKUTA. From establishing supplier relationships to optimizing inventory levels and managing purchasing processes, you'll lead initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and meet the demands of our growing product portfolio.Key Responsibilities:Develop and execute procurement strategies to meet business objectives and support company growthIdentify and qualify reliable suppliers, negotiating contracts and terms to ensure favorable pricing and termsMonitor inventory levels and forecast demand to optimize stock levels and minimize shortages or excessCollaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, finance, marketing, and logistics, to coordinate purchasing activities and streamline processesImplement systems and tools for efficient procurement management, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and industry regulationsAnalyze market trends and supplier performance to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvementsLead and mentor a team of purchasing professionals, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvementABOUT YOUPrevious experience in procurement or supply chain management preferred, with a strong understanding of purchasing principles and practicesPassion for optimizing processes and driving efficiencies within the procurement functionExcellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholdersAnalytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions to support purchasing strategiesAdaptable and proactive, with a continuous improvement mindset and a willingness to embrace change and new challengesAbility to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines effectivelyProficiency in Portuguese & English is required; additional language skills are advantageousAPPLY FOR THE JOBWe are looking for someone who lives and breathes the MIKUTA spirit.
