At Conrad Algarve we Create Leaders!What will I be doing?As a Human Resources Intern, you are responsible for organising, delivering, and evaluating training programs to deliver an excellent staff experience. An HR Intern will also be required to support and advise management on proper policies and procedures. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards: Support and advise Managers on proper policies and proceduresSupport the hotel with departmental training requirementsOrganise, deliver, and evaluate training programmes as requiredManage succession planning with senior managers during the bi-annual appraisal processManage employee relations issues in the hotel in a confidential manner, including disciplinaries, grievances, and capabilityEnsure absence monitoring is in line with company guidelinesMaintain online personnel system, payroll system, and monthly reportingEnsure recruitment and selection process is adhered to and ensure that appropriate immigration checks are carried outEnsure completion of training for hotel security, fire regulations and other health and safety legislationAssist in the organisation of Team Member social eventsWork with local organisations and schools to promote the hospitality industryPromote and endorse staff benefitsAssist and resolve team member and management queriesWhat are we looking for?A Human Resources Intern serving Hilton brands is always working on behalf of our Guests and working with other Team Members.
