Position Overview: As the Head of Floating Wind, you will be responsible for leading the development and execution of our client's floating wind strategy. You will play a key role in driving project development, managing stakeholder relationships, and ensuring the successful implementation of floating wind projects in the region.
Responsibilities: Develop and execute the strategic roadmap for floating wind projects in Portugal, including project identification, site selection, and development planning. Lead cross-functional project teams, including engineering, finance, and regulatory affairs, to drive project development and execution. Manage relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, local communities, and industry partners, to secure necessary permits, approvals, and support for project development. Oversee project budgets, timelines, and resources to ensure successful project delivery and compliance with regulatory requirements. Stay abreast of market trends, technological advancements, and regulatory developments in the floating wind industry to inform strategic decision-making and identify opportunities for innovation and growth. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to drive continuous improvement initiatives and optimize project development processes and practices. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degree preferred. Proven track record of success in developing offshore wind projects. Deep understanding of floating wind technology, project development processes, and regulatory requirements. Strong leadership capabilities with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams to achieve ambitious goals. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset and the ability to drive innovation and change in a dynamic and rapidly evolving industry. Fluency in English and Portuguese; additional languages a plus.
