Position: Windows System Administrator Location: Remote (Portugal) What We're Looking For: With this job opportunity, you will embrace the following challenges: Administration of Windows Server 2019 and later operating systems.
Troubleshooting and providing technical support for databases and operating systems.
Collaborating with other teams to ensure the efficient integration and operation of systems.
Database design, implementation/development, administration (Oracle DBA level a gold plus but not strictly required) Development of simple integration components (Visual Studio, .Net, Java, J2EE, PL/SQL developer, C, C++, COM object based interfaces, Web interfaces, XML, Soap, etc.)
Knowledge of database management including backup and restore procedures Knowledge of network fundamentals and network connectivity Familiarity with scripting languages, Perl and Python, may be beneficial Strong analytical problem-solving skills The ability to communicate technical information effectively in English Familiarity with virtualization technologies - Hyper-V Medical Standards: DICOM and Health Level Seven (HL7), Integrating the Healthcare Enterprise Experience with any of the integration engine The ability to work independently and follow detailed instructions MUST HAVE: Windows Server 2019 and later operating systems Oracle database (install, configuration, migration) Equal Opportunity: GBT Solutions is an equal opportunity employer and values diversity.
