About the team and role

We?re looking for an entrepreneurial, high-energy VP, Sales to join our team to build out our sales department to capture the large market opportunity ahead of us.

As a company, we?ve had a lot of success on the sales front - building a solid foundation by partnering with the leaders across each retail vertical such as Decathlon (#1 Sporting Goods Retailer Worldwide), Sephora (#1 Beauty Retailer Worldwide), Media Markt (#1 Electronics Store in Europe) and Toys R Us (#1 Toy Retailer Worldwide). Alongside this, we?ve been able to secure 100% Customer Renewals in the past year, which acts as a testament to our approach to serving customers and our technology.

The sales team is currently led by our CEO. This role has high exposure within the company - sitting on the leadership team and reporting directly to our CEO. The role is based in sunny Lisbon, Portugal.

The role is ideal for someone that:

Thrives on the chance to create and build

Enjoys rolling up their sleeves to get the job done

Has several years experience managing direct reports and motivating them to achieve sales targets

Experience in SaaS

Ability to travel (all expenses paid)

Intelligent and hardworking with a positive attitude and desire to succeed

Your responsibilities will include?

Owning the direction and execution of Swogo\'s sales efforts.

Develop and lead the entire sales process, including but not limited to strategy and account planning, deal sourcing, pipeline management, negotiation, deal structures and closing new business.

Owning and exceeding annual sales targets

Attract, recruit, train and retain exceptional sales talent

Define and report on metrics to measure performance of sales activities

Continue to build out the Swogo playbook

Working alongside CEO and growth roles, while serving on the leadership team to help shape our company?s direction
