The successful candidate should be a self-starter, must be comfortable working in a very fast paced, busy environment in the rapidly growing IT services industry. The candidate must be accustomed to working independently in high exposure environment and to managing multiple task assignments. He/she should also be a self-starter. He or she must be able to clearly communicate verbally and in writing, create professional-grade technical documentation and to demonstrate strong information presentation skills.
- Candidate should have 8 to 12 years of extensive experience in Transition Management.
- End to end experience of minimum 2 Transitions is mandatory.
- You are accountable for the overall development and implementation of a transition solution.
- You will bridge the gap between the Project/Onboarding Teams and the Service Delivery Teams
Reviews proposals, contracts and Statements Of Work for accuracy in areas related to transition.
Interfaces with Project Management, Enterprise Tools Team and Operations Teams to ensure smooth transition effort.
Develop and implement master transition plan that manages cost and schedule to create or modify facilities, implement, monitor, track, status reporting and test technical solution, and put in place initial service delivery processes.
On an engagement interacts with key managers and Subject Matter Experts (internal e.g. Service Delivery Team, Support Groups and external e.g. client, third parties) in order to understand the current environment, the business complexity as related to the contract requirements, and validates the proposed transition architecture and solution.
Should be responsible for risk & issue management by creation and maintenance of risk and issue register.
Monitor, track and resolve critical transition related issues.
Setting up and ensuring smooth routine reporting mechanisms.
Ensuring that the scope of the services to be transitioned, and the SLAs expected from the service delivery are clearly understood and agreed upon by all stakeholders.
Ensure that the required hardware / software is in place, the connectivity is established and is adequate for sustained service delivery.
Monitor knowledge transfer activities for completeness and perform KT acceptance to ensure that the KT is sufficient.
Should involve in readiness assessment before cutover.
Work with the SDM and delivery management to define the process and procedures for service delivery.
Hand over the service delivery to the Service Delivery Manager (SDM). Perform post- implementation review and document lessons learned.
Assist the SDM in preparation of the Service Quality Plan (SQP). Ensure that SQP is defined before transition is complete.
Must be responsible for knowledge / collateral creation.
Candidate should be responsible for post-implementation review.
Continuously drive service improvement
Should report progress of transition by circulating weekly dashboard.
Should have extensive experience in Executive Interaction
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Strong experience with Transition/Change Management and best practices.
Experience in Conflict Management is mandatory.
Experienced in end-to-end delivery of Managed Services transition engagements which meet the defined scope, schedule, and quality objectives.
Ability to present ideas in business-friendly and user-friendly language
Solid knowledge of transition risk management, tools and methods
Should be highly self-motivated
Excellent verbal and written skills are a must
Ability to align roles and responsibilities in the organization to the required change
Strong collaboration and consensus-building skills to work with stakeholders across the organization
Ability to facilitate business, process, and technical discussions to drive clarity and understanding among a diverse set of stakeholders
Experience in understanding, application, and refinement of Service Delivery Transition plans and deliverables in the Outsourcing space is preferred.
