You'll lead a small full-stack squad delivering key features across their client-facing platforms.
You'll still be coding (around 30% of your time), but your bigger job will be setting standards, coaching engineers, and helping shape the technical direction for the platform.
The role is a great mix of leadership and hands-on engineering.
You'll work directly with the product team, help make architectural decisions, and be a key voice in a company that still builds things properly.
You'll help set the tone for how the team works, how they communicate, and how they ship.

What you'll be doing: Leading a full-stack squad building web apps in TypeScript, React, and Node.Js Designing scalable architectures for a serverless AWS environment Converting business requirements into working, maintainable systems Improving CI/CD pipelines and delivery metrics using trunk-based development Supporting your team through mentoring, pair programming, and code reviews Championing clean code, test-driven development, and pragmatic delivery What you'll bring: 8+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 3 years in a lead role Commercial experience with React, TypeScript, Node.Js, and MySQL Confidence with serverless architectures and cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred) A working knowledge of DORA metrics and how to improve delivery through data Strong communication skills and a calm, coaching approach to team leadership Experience running agile ceremonies and working closely with product teams Based in Portugal (Porto preferred) and happy with 3 days/week onsite Tech Stack Snapshot: Frontend: React, TypeScript, JavaScript Backend: Node.Js (AWS Lambda), MySQL Infra & Tooling: AWS, CI/CD pipelines (trunk-based dev), DORA metrics, feature flags Process: Agile, test-driven development, monorepo strategy What's on offer: Private health insurance for you and your family €500 annual wellness allowance €10
