We are seeking a motivated and qualified Portuguese Teacher to help foster a love for the Portuguese language and culture while supporting students in developing strong language skills.

About the Role:

Deliver engaging and effective Portuguese language instruction, aligned with Cambridge Lower Secondary, IGCSE, IB Portuguese B curricula, and other international programmes.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Portuguese language lessons.

Create a nurturing teaching environment that encourages enquiry-based learning.

Maintain professionalism in terms of punctuality, behaviour, and setting homework.

Reflect on and refine teaching practices to ensure continuous improvement.

Commit to ongoing professional development both individually and through school-wide initiatives.

Produce high-quality resources to support student learning.

Participate in school events and special occasions as required.

Set and mark exams, assignments, and other forms of assessment.

Undertake any additional reasonable tasks as determined by the Head of School or line manager.
