The?Senior Solution Architect is a customer-facing technical sales executive role requiring the ability to interface effectively with Jolera Channel Partner sales resources and their respective end user clientele. The Solution Architect will engage with partners and clients to analyze their business and will have the ability to sell complex managed/security and/or professional services to resolve specific business needs.
Key Responsibilities:You will be responsible for winning new business, generating and maximizing revenue through selling of Jolera services through Channel partners to end user prospects and customers. The Managed / Security IT Solutions Architect is responsible for representing and selling the Jolera strategic solutions portfolio of managed infrastructure, managed security and IT professional services.
You will achieve this by:Engaging and consulting with Jolera channel partners and their prospects / customers at all levels in an organization including the different lines of business, executives, finance, information technology, and sourcing
Engaging with Channel Account Executives and their extended teams to actively pursue their prospects / clients and help drive services growth in their respective territories
Identifying and initiating opportunities, qualifying opportunities and manage funnel to meet growth and revenue commitments; work closely with the Jolera Solutions / Consulting Services, Managed Services, Security Services and Professional Services teams.
Developing lasting and valued business relationships with clients and industry influencers
Maintaining high levels of knowledge and expertise regarding our Channel Partners and their respective customers, their industries, outsourcing, security services, managed services and information technology
Preparing business cases, proposals, presentations, quotations, contracts, and supporting documentation as required
Handling and forwarding of technical and operations questions or issues that may arise during a sales pursuit, and managing appropriate customer expectations throughout the sales cycle, ensuring Jolera’s role as a trusted partner to the Global IT Channel
Negotiating contracts and agreements as required
The Challenge – Key Objectives/Deliverables in first 12 Months:Proficiently qualifying real opportunities and assuring successful pursuit of managed / security IT services contracts
Develop an understanding of the products and services that Jolera provides and effectively demonstrate to our Channel Partners and their respective clients how these products and services can provide business value to them
Establish effective relationships with customer stakeholders at all levels of our Channel Partners respective client organizations.
Continuously focus on moving opportunities through the sales cycle
Provide small “c” consulting regarding IT operations, management, security and other services.

Required Professional Designation/Certification:Bachelor’s University degree or technical diploma in Computer Science / Engineering or equivalent

Sales training/Account Planning is a definite asset
Required Experience:8+ years of related work experience in the IT industry, with minimum 5 years in a pre-sales engineering role
Minimum 5 years of experience developing complete IT solutions
Previous Industry experience in Solution Development, Pre-Sales, Consulting or Customer facing technical roles
Demonstrated experience in identifying and understanding customer technical/business needs and translating them into viable integrated solutions
Consultative selling experience
