Software Quality Assurance Engineer (M/F)

Job Description

Your contribution to something big:
You will be integrated in a project of the residential heating controls division of Bosch Thermotechnology, in Aveiro. The team is focused on developing mobile applications that integrate an ecosystem of IoT Smart Controllers for the next-generation of Bosch residential heating systems. In this position you will:
Analyse software requirements, assess their testability and derive test cases from there;
Create test plans, define test objectives and specify the best approaches to reach those goals;
Design and implement test cases in order to validate previous software requirements;
Execute test cases and create test reports in order to give feedback to stakeholders about the quality of the software;
Contribute to a state-of-the-art test automation process;
Maintain and improve the Continuous Integration and Deployment pipeline;
Promote the adoption of quality best practices within the team;
Provide inputs to the overall quality strategy of the Product Area.

Qualifications

What distinguishes you:
Academic degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or similar;
Working experience in software development and software quality assurance;
Deep understanding on software testing principles, tools and processes;
ISTQB certification is a plus (Foundation, Agile, ...);
Knowledge on Android and iOS mobile app development and related programming languages, like Swift, Kotlin or Java;
Familiar with mobile automated testing frameworks like Appium, XCTest, Espresso, ...;
Knowledge on Robot Framework and Python scripting language;
Experience with concepts and frameworks related to a Continuous Integration and Deployment pipeline;
Experience with Agile Development process;
Quality oriented mindset, proactivity and motivated for teamwork;
Ability to collaborate in an international team environment;
Strong written and verbal communication skills (in Portuguese and English);
Willingness to travel.
