The Procurement activity at Group Strategic Sourcing (at Group and Entity level) supports the Entities of BNP Paribas Group in the process of buying goods and services to get the best combination of quality, cost, risks and delivery time. Its mandate covers all the Group external expenses. The Procurement activity of BNP Paribas Group's main tasks are to meet the needs of the businesses/entities in terms of external spending while ensuring the best cost-quality-time for the Group, optimizing these external costs and guarantee the security of the supplier relationship.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Procurement Operations Team Leader, your mission is to manage a team of buyers who operates on the internal clients' behalf, the buying of goods and services (Consulting, IT Services, Equipment, Software, etc.). The Team Leader has the responsibility to ensure the respect of regulation and BNP Paribas' standards, the application of category sourcing strategy, the achievement of savings target and customer satisfaction.

The team is responsible for executing the following activities:

Support internal clients (F rench BNP Paribas entities) in their purchasing requests , on an ongoing basis and ensure client satisfaction (quality, costs, processing time)
Coordinate RFP (Request for Proposal) processes and analyze suppliers' offers
Negotiate the best price conditions with the providers and achieve savings target
Prepare application contracts and ensure compliance with regulation, BNP Paribas' standards and framework contracts
Contribute to the improvement of procurement processes and tools

As a Procurement Team Leader, your main activities are to:

Coordinate, distribute and monitor the daily working tasks, its accuracy, reliability, quality, exhaustiveness and deadline assurance
Obtain, analyze and prepare reporting information
Manage complex and urgent requests
Ensure the controls requested
Manage and assist the team members on their activity
Monitor and evaluate team's performance
Update and ensure the quality and improvement of the documentation and processes

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

Education level: Master's degree (>=5 years)

Experience level: At least 10 years in professional experience in Procurement related activities or similar roles (sales, IT, finance, operations, administration, etc.)

Language: Fluency in French and English is mandatory (C1 level)

Technical skills:

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
Knowledge in procurement or buying activities within a large multinational company/environment is a strong plus
Being at ease with reading and managing contracts
Good understanding of IT job types

Strong verbal and written communication skills
Strong ability for negotiation

Strong analytical mind, problem solving, planning & organisation skills

At ease with multi-tasking

Available up to 2 months of training abroad
