Senior Financial Accountant

We have an in-house development offer, based on the deep knowledge of the sector, both on technology and market.We develop innovative hardware and software solutions that optimize our customer's operations, smooth user experience and electric grid utilization.We want to be a global reference in the e-mobility sector, providing a distinctive offer and generating value for the community.POSITION SUMMARY:This role will have the main responsibilities to ensure company accounting activities.DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:Assist in maintenance, processing, and production of month/year-end close processes, balance sheet reconciliations,Maintain general ledger integrity and ensure accurate recording of financial transactions,Prepare and fill tax returns VAT, CIT, WHT and other returns in compliance with Portuguese tax laws,Support other teams in the correct accounting and tax framework of operations,Preparing the consolidated accounts, including financial statements, on a monthly-basis,Coordinating with the different finance teams of the group companies, providing support and clarifying issues related to consolidation,Participating in the implementation of consolidation tools and systems,Evaluate and improve internal controls and accounting procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy.INTERACTIONS & INTERFACES:Internally will interact with all the departments,Externally will interact with several entities,Reports to Accounting Coordinator.SKILLS & COMPETENCIES:Degree in management, economics, or accounting,Enrollment in the Order of Certified Accountants,Exceptional knowledge consolidation,Excellent knowledge of Local GAAP & Tax compliance,Minimum 7 years' experience in accounting,Knowledge about US GAAP/IFRS would be considered a plus,Experience in Industry sector is a plus,MS Office, Excel, Power Point,Knowledge of ERP,Knowledge of Power BI is a plus,Proficiency in English is a must (minimum B2 level - spoken and written),Ability to work effectively in a team environment and build strong working relationship,Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail,Ability to multi-task, prioritize and work in an extremely fast-paced environment.A FINAL NOTE:You do not need to match every listed expectation to apply for this position.
