Missao

As a big data architect, your will significantly contribute to identify and implement the best fit architectural solutions (HW/SW solution stack) for one or more projects; develop design of applications, provide regular support/guidance to project teams on complex coding, issue resolution and execution. You will collaborate with some of the best talent in the industry to create and implement innovative high quality solution, participate in sales and various pursuits focused on our client’s business needs. Key Responsibilities:
Define Data Stack Architecture to address legacy (BI) and modern (big data) challenges on prem and cloud;
Implement and deploy custom solutions/applications using Big Data technologies;
Lead and guide implementation teams and provide technical expertise;
Designing, implementing batch and stream, big data pipelines (ELT) on distributed environments where volume, speed and performance are key drivers;
Security implementation of big data solutions;
Define and implement governance policies;
Managing data in big data repositories co-existing with traditional data technologies in a hybrid environment;
Troubleshooting production issues;
Performance tuning.

Perfil

Degree / Master in computer Science or similar;
At least 5 years of IT work experience;
Experience at least with one Hadoop distribution and one major Big Data PaaS Cloud Provider;
Knowhow of Big Data ecosystem ( HDFS, Yarn, Ambari, Scoop, Flume, Nifi, Kafka, Zookeper, Hive, Hbase, Impala, Cassandra, Mongo, Spark, Elastic Search, PowerBI, Kibana, Hue, Zeppeling);
Experience in any of the languages: Python, R, Scala, Java;
Experience using databases: Sql, NoSql and in distributed data processing batch and real time;
Expertise in planning, implementing, supporting, and tuning Hadoop ecosystem environments using a variety of tools and techniques;
Pre-sales knowledge and experience (proposal writing and submission);
Fluent in English (written and spoken).
