We are looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer to join Aptoide Team. This person will be responsible for Aptoide Mobile product quality assurance. Your role will be to maintain high quality standards of the software developed by Aptoide. Work alongside with the developers to define test scenarios and test cases, identify bottlenecks and user problems. Be part of sprint planning defining features and anticipate roadblocks.

Role

Specification of test scenarios and test cases.
Multiple software tests execution.
Develop exploratory and automated tests to ensure product quality.
Report defects and work closely with development team members.

Main requirements

Academic degree in Information technology or similar
Experience in software testing
Experience with Python, Ruby or Java (or other scripting language)
2 to 3 years experience in similar functions
Good communication skills
Proficient in written and spoken English
Good time management and multi-tasking skills
Previous experience with Selenium framework
Experience with Rest API



Nice to have

Knowledge of Calabash
Experience with network profiling tools (Charles or others)
Experience with Continuous integration tools (Jenkins or others)
Knowledge in BDD (behavior driven development)
