About the department
You will be a part of the Market Access & Public Affairs department. The department is a part of Novo Nordisk Portugal organisation, with approximately 50 employees.
As Public Affairs Professional your main responsibilities will be to design and execute Public Affairs strategies and activities for all portfolio of Novo Nordisk in Portugal. You will execute the Public Affairs Plan, create and maintain a strong relationship with main Politicians, Patient Advocacy Groups and Patients Associations, Media and other relevant national health stakeholders.
You will follow up the national Diabetes Strategy and plans in order to identify opportunities for public/private partnership to implement the change Diabetes, Obesity & Haemophilia Project in Portugal.
You will identify collaboration opportunities for changing diabetes and haemophilia at national & regional level. Part of your duties will be also the external communication locally, the building and increasing awareness for the need of "Changing Diabetes", “Changing Haemophilia” and "Cities Changing Diabetes".
You have at least five years of experience in Public Affairs, Market Access, and/or external communication area. You have knowledge of Portuguese Healthcare System and its regulation.
You hold a bachelor’s degree, preferably in health sciences or economics (MBA is an advantage). The job requires fluency in both Portuguese and English, written and spoken. As a person, you have ability to think strategically and plan for future success. You are responsible, open and honest and proactive team player who aspires towards common success.
