BNP Paribas Smart Office is a Shared Service Centre composed of teams who are dedicated to administrative support services, to staff members throughout Europe. Client relations are at the cornerstone of group´s strategy, with the primary aim of developing long-term relationships and helping clients to make the best use of their time by dealing with their administrative tasks.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
To generate summary statistics and analysis from different data sources to support management reporting. The Management Reporting Officer will provide support in the design of management reporting with intention of facilitating the program reporting flow and process to internal and onshore stakeholders. To assist senior management and senior teams based in Portugal and London in delivering, maintaining and providing support throughout the reporting process; Working in a fast paced environment by maximizing the use of reports to automate standard processes and develop innovative solutions that offer a smart way forward, always operating with a sense of responsibility and compliance.
Generate, automate and produce operational reports, adhering to defined templates and ensuring compliance with the information security protocols, for internal parties as required by management staff
Ensure reports are completed accurately and on schedule
Produce and maintain these reports in a variety of formats and reporting methodologies for internal management staff use, and if necessary, maintain logs and documentation of these in parallel
Support with the development, implementation and update of procedures, process manuals and operational workflows
Aid with the training of staff and provide back-up when necessary
Develop current and possible new areas of Management Reporting, including associated reports and documentation
Keep up-to-date with new developments and changes in processes
Deal with operational queries when necessary
If required, attend internal meetings and trainings relevant to the role
Other ad-hoc projects development may be requested
Bachelor Degree in Information Systems, Mathematics or similar
At least one year experience in a similar position
Fluency in English
IT skills or proven experience and ability of database methodology, design and management
Advanced Microsoft Office skills (particularly Excel, PowerPoint and Access as a plus)
Previous management reporting experience is a plus
Precise and rigorous
Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast paced and dynamic environment
Strong organizational skills
Strong team spirit
