As a Lecturer of Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing at ITC, you teach and support courses in photogrammetry and remote sensing at Master of Science and technician level. You contribute to the development of existing courses and new educational products. On behalf of ITC, you also participate in (international) consulting and advisory services with an educational component. You keep your theoretical and practical expertise up to date, following the latest technological developments. The focus of your work is on processing images and point clouds acquired from various platforms and sensors. This includes sensor orientation, methods and applications of image matching, classification, and information extraction. Please note that your tasks as a lecturer do not include research.
You possess an MSc or PhD with at least three years of professional experience in photogrammetry and/or remote sensing. You also have a genuine drive to transfer your knowledge, and to assist students in developing theirs. Experience in developing and implementing new educational materials is essential. Preferably, you have proven didactic skills and experience in teaching (University Teacher Qualification certificate ?BKO? or equivalent), affinity with a multi-cultural, post-graduate educational environment, and experience in international consulting and advising services. A good command of English is required and affinity with French or Spanish languages is an advantage. You are willing to undertake international travel.
