Since 2015, BNP Paribas Wealth Management has a competence center in Lisbon (PIMH = Portugal International Markets Hub) to manage activities for several locations (Switzerland, Luxemburg, Germany, Monaco …).

We are currently reinforcing this team and we are looking for a:

Business Controller

Due to the current growth of the PIMH WM activities, we are looking for a Business Controller.

Under the responsibility of the local Finance Manager based in Lisbon Office the Business controller will perform the following activities:

Performance Reporting:

Reporting, analysis and control of expenses on a monthly basis (actual vs previous year / forecast /budget);

Participates in the forecasting and budgeting process. This includes:
Coordination of the process with all stakeholders;

Work closely with internal clients and senior management to build their forecast/budget;

Ensure proper calculation and allocation of expenses;

Perform analysis and presentations.

Produces the necessary information and analysis to support Top Management;

Produces other ad hoc analysis for internal or external clients.

Projects follow up - analysis and control of projects expenses / headcounts on a monthly basis (actual vs business case).

Service Level Agreements Management:
Organizes and maintains the regular Service Level review process with all the intervenients;

Conducts periodic reviews of the service Level processes and checks if any controls / amendments are necessary to maintain / improve Service Levels;

Propose the appropriate actions to maintain/improve service levels;

Analyses and reviews Service Performance against the SLAs;

Organizes the SLA Management Committees.

Other Tasks:

Ensure the production and control of the headcounts, by team, in a specific tool;

Participate in the production of the quarterly invoicing process - ensure the coordination and control of their booking and payment with the clients;

Contribute for the improvement of Financial / Business processes.

Regular contacts with QRM team.


Master's degree in Finance, Management Control or Business;

Between 2- 3 years' experience in Management Control / Audit Functions;

Good knowledge of Excel;

Fluent in English;

Strong team spirit;

Ability to work under tight deadlines;

Quick self-starter, pro-active attitude with ability to work in a fast changing environment;

Excellent analytical and problem solving skill.
