About employer: Company with more than 20 years' experience specialising in the production of components and structures for car seats and complete solutions to vehicle interiors. Currently opening a new greenfield production plant in Palmela (Portugal) in cooperation with Volkswagen Group. Responsibilities:Provide timely technical support for hardware, software, and network issuesAddress help desk tickets, emails, and calls, resolving or escalating issuesAssist in setting up and maintaining computers, printers, and peripheralsPerform routine maintenance, updates, and troubleshooting on computer systemsCoordinate with vendors for warranty support and manage software applicationsAid in the setup and maintenance of the local network infrastructureTroubleshoot network connectivity issues and collaborate with the IT teamImplement and enforce IT security policies, conduct periodic auditsMaintain accurate records of IT inventory, licenses, and user permissionsCreate and update documentation for IT processes and troubleshootingRequirements:Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related fieldDemonstrated experience in a similar IT support roleSolid knowledge of hardware, software, and networking conceptsExcellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsCustomer-focused with exceptional communication abilitiesAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a team environmentProficiency in English and Portuguese at min.
