Golang Backend Engineer

Emvenci develops state of the art cybersecurity software and content which is used worldwide by many organizations. Based at our tech hub in Lisbon, we are looking for a Golang Backend Developer to join the team to help us continue our exciting journey.
As a Golang Backend Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining the backend services that power Cybersecurity Cloud. You will work closely with our product, design, and front-end teams to create innovative solutions that meet our users' needs. Your expertise in Golang and system design will play a key role in enhancing our product's performance and reliability.
Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Golang code.Implement high-performance and scalable backend systems.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.Identify opportunities for performance improvements.Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization. Qualifications 4+ years of experience in backend development, with a strong focus on Golang.Strong understanding of the Golang programming language.Experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure) and RESTful APIs.Solid understanding of object-oriented programming and Clean Code Architecture.Familiar with various design and architectural patterns.Experience with databases (MariaDB or PostgreSQL).Understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think algorithmically.
