Aptoide is looking for aFull-stack Engineer to join our R&D teamand help us developing state-of-the-art solutions to improve a product being used by 220 million people from all over the world.

Aptoide’s R&D team, where you will be integrated, works in innovative projects that focus on mobile and cloud computing, cybersecurity, quality assurance, artificial intelligence and blockchain.


Most of our projects are done in partnership with renown universities, giving our team the opportunity to be always in contact with top scientific and technological experts.

Role

Research new ideas, design experiments, and develop and assess solutions for app stores’ challenges;

Collaborate with product teams for understanding technological needs and proposing innovative solutions

Develop and deliver software components able of improving our widely used product;

Produce technical reports and publications showing how our solution solves relevant challenges.

Main requirements

Software Engineering background (2 to 5 years of experience);

Master’s degreein Computer Science or equivalent;

Previous experience with Web Development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP or others);

Previous experience building high-volume and scalable backend services;

Avid taste for learning new technologies and developing new technical approaches for hard problems;

Ability and willingness to write technical reports;

Spoken and writtenfluency in Portuguese and English.

Interest in:

Big data and complex data visualisation;

Artificial intelligence (ML, NLP, recommendation systems);

Mobile cybersecurity (automatized static and dynamic analysis of code);

Blockchain (Hyperledger; Ethereum network).
