Devops Engineer

We're looking for a skilled Dev Ops professional to join an exciting and challenging project in Porto, working in the banking sector!
What You'll Do: Manage, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines, automate infrastructure, and ensure cloud environment operations; Set automation standards and ensure proper usage across development, testing, and operations; Define technical/business requirements for automation tools, maintain documentation, and enforce compliance; Enforce mechanisms toensure compliance with automation policies; Streamline development, testing, and deployment processes, minimizing bottlenecks and optimizing performance; Collaborate closely with Developers and other teams to ensure the infrastructure and automation they build support rapid, secure, and reliable software delivery; Collaborate with QA professionals to help ensure end-to-end quality; Contribute to discussions on architecture, performance tuning, and middleware integration; Document policies forautomation tool administration and management; Conduct Dev Ops performance assessments and identify improvement opportunities; Analyze service stackfor resiliency and efficiency; Lead design solutionsfor validating environment deployments; Design solutions capable of retrieving, altering, and reusing test data; Develop, scale, and control strategies, standards, guidelines, and governance.
What You Will Need To Bring: University degree with 6+ years in IT or non-university degree with 8+ years in IT; At least 3 years as aDev Ops Engineer, Automation Architect, or CI/CD Engineer; Hands-on experience with Azure, including cost optimization, cloud-native services, and security; Proficiency in Kubernetes (e.G., autoscaling, Nginx ingress controllers, container orchestration) and Docker; Skilled in Infrastructure as Code (Ia C) tools like Terraform and Ansible; Experience with software security pipeline tools and monitoring; Knowledge of GDPR andSecurity/Privacy by Design principles; Advanced scripting inPower Shell, Python, or Go, with experience using APIs for automation; Expertise in Azure Pipelines, SVN, and Git; Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Design (OOD), Programming (OOP), and Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA); Solid grasp of networking and system administration essentials; Experience analyzing CI/CD security tool metrics and results; Excellent written andverbal communication skills in English.
