In this role, you're expected to support the business processes and help maintain the site's shared infrastructure architecture. This is a key role that works hand-in-hand with the development teams in creating solutions for the purpose of deploying and monitoring applications. As a member of the DevOps Team, you will be building developer tools, extending our CI/CD pipeline, improving service observability and building core components used in the product.
For this position, we value the following skills:
Degree in Computer Science or similar;
Experience with an Orchestration system, like Kubernetes, OpenShitft, MeSoS or similar;
Experience with CI/CD principles, architecture and operations;
Experience with automation frameworks, such as Ansible, SaltStack or similar;
Solid understanding of Linux Networks, and troubleshooting;
Grasp of Automation Tools and a solid understand in Infrastructure as Code methodologies;
Knowledge about Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment pipeline development;
Experience with instrumentation for monitoring and logging the health and availability of services;
A demonstrated track record of building secure, large scale, highly available services;
Data management skills and understanding of business outcomes is a plus;
Passionate about building and fostering good engineering practices and processes;
A collaborative attitude and a bias towards action.
