What does it take to be a SMART DBA ENGINEER?
A background in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field Hands-on experience with databases like Oracle, My SQL, Postgre SQL, Mongo DB, SQL Server Bonus points for knowledge of Exadata/ZDLRA Solid skills in Linux shell scripting Experience with Ansible, Python, and Dev Ops tools: Git, Jenkins, JIRA, Bitbucket, XLDeploy Monitoring tools like Zabbix or Splunk Understanding of security policies and enterprise networks Problem-solving mindset with a knack for optimization Fluent in English (B2+), French is a plus Strong communicator, autonomous but a true team player Available for on-call duties and occasional travel to France What will you do at SMART?
Design, deploy, and evolve powerful database infrastructure (Oracle, My SQL, Postgre SQL & more) Ensure system stability and security through patching, upgrades, and proactive error resolution Automate everything!
From patching to dashboards and test environments Build real-time dashboards to monitor database performance Work closely with business users to align DB solutions with actual needs Contribute to technical innovation — your ideas matter here Document processes using tools like JIRA & Confluence Embrace Dev Ops: CI/CD pipelines, scripts, automation... bring your magic!
