Data Engineer

We are seeking a talented Data Engineer to join our Client's team on a hybrid working model from Lisbon or Porto.
The ideal candidate has experience in delivering tailored data tools across the entire processing pipeline—Data Feeds, ETL, Warehousing, and Visualization . You will create high-quality data solutions, from pipelines to visualizations, while engaging with stakeholders to understand their needs, translate requirements, and ensure outputs meet expectations.
Key Responsibilities Develop and Optimize Data Pipelines : Construct efficient and scalable pipelines to process, transform, and integrate data. Automate Processes : Industrialize ETL and workflows for full automation to reduce manual intervention. Engage with Clients : Assess business needs, offer suitable solutions, and translate them into actionable data products. Build Visualization Solutions : Design and implement dashboards and tools for insights (e.g., Power BI). Enhance Data Offerings : Work alongside other Data Engineers to improve the DataHub and extend the bank's data capabilities. Point of Contact : Act as the business's go-to resource for data-related innovations , offering better ways to improve daily operations. Required Skills Python : Strong development expertise. PySpark : Hands-on experience with Big Data processing. Power BI : Skilled in developing dashboards and visualization tools. SQL : Proficient in querying and managing relational databases.
