Data Engineer

Position: Data Engineer
Location: Lisbon or Madrid
Please note: You will be required to work in the office full-time for the first 6 weeks.
After that, the schedule will change to 2 days a week.

Salary: Up to €65,000 + up to 30% bonus + benefits
We have partnered with a global financial services provider in the banking and hedge fund space.
Currently, they employe over 400 staff members, with more than 50 in the IT team.
Following recent successful project deployments, the CTO is hiring for multiple departments to support their expansion across Europe
As a Data Engineer, you will be responsible for reviewing and interpreting ongoing business report requirements, writing optimized SQL queries, and implementing ETL processes and functions.

MUST HAVE SKILLS:
5+ years in Data Engineering 2+ years of experience as an SQL Developer and ETL Processes Excellent understanding of T-SQL programming, Microsoft SQL Server Experience in ETL processes with SSIS.
MUST have Microsoft Azure experience.
INTERVIEW PROCESS:
1st – Technical interview with hiring manager 2nd – HR soft skills round FINAL – Meet with the CTO to understand the business and its responsibilities.
