We are looking for a Cost Controller for our GBS!
Responsibilities - your mission The jobholder will be in charge of Controlling activities focused around Costs by Nature (Personnel Costs, External Costs, etc).
They will be in charge of all financial matters related to the following perimeter:
Driving & supporting key Finance processes (operative planning, forecasts, closing)Providing clear, comprehensive and accurate financial data and guidance, and supporting decision makingLiaising with different stakeholders (Controlling, Accounting, HR) to provide accurate analysis and meaningful storylinesThey will be responsible for the following tasks: Planning Act as the focal point for data feeding and data qualityEnsure the consistency and accuracy of the data received and usedPropose a realistic phasing plan based on analyticsUtilize predictive forecasting through simulation developmentReporting Pre-digest closing data via SAP Analytics Cloud, and compare performance from both a quantitative and qualitative perspective against budgets and targets in order to highlight discrepancies as well as risks & opportunitiesAct as a Business Intelligence focal point by performing data analytics tasksEnsure data quality and circularity within reportsPerformance analysis on manufacturing Hourly RateCollaborate with Human Resources in establishing an integrated headcount reporting structure while ensuring the accuracy, consistency and compliance of the reportingOther: Identify competitiveness measures through benchmarking of costs across Airbus functionsShare best practices across Airbus functions for the Controlling communityRequirements - our ideal candidate will have Business Management education in Finance or other related fieldsBasic knowledge of Accounting / ControllingTalent for agile, reliable and fast data managementDeliverable-driven, able to work with short deadlinesGood analytical skills with an ability to switch from big picture to detailed viewProblem-solverProactive in proposing improvement solutions to the businessAble to look at performance / sustainability on short-/mid-/long-term solutionsCommunication skills are key, creating trustful relationships quickly in a remote work context and maintaining a broad network within the Finance and HR functionsEthics and compliance adherence is a must, with a clear understanding of rules around data confidentiality (e.g., Procurement process, General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), etc)English is a must; knowledge of French / German / Spanish would be a plusFull mastery of Google Suite and Microsoft Office SuiteBenefits - what's in it for you Diverse career opportunities within Airbus European core countries or in other regions around the world.A hybrid working model, allowing you to combine onsite and offsite work.A modern office well connected to public transportation.A motivated and fun crew to grow and build and shape the GBS together.An intense and exciting onboarding experience.This job requires an awareness of any potential compliance risks and a commitment to act with integrity, as the foundation for the Company's success, reputation and sustainable growth.
