BNP Paribas has engaged on a transformation of its financial operating model and decided to create a European Finance Operations Center in Lisbon.

The Business Process Management Specialist position is part of the Purchasing Solutions & Digital department staffing, and serves as a liaison between the business (client services) and information systems team (responsible for the maintenance and evolution the cost accounting platforms of the Group).

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Working within the framework of Business Process Management, your main objective is to ensure a dynamic orchestration between human, technologies and processes guaranteeing that the right information reaches the right people at the right time.

In order to achieve this your role will comprise three large vectors of activities:

CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT

Identify new opportunities for improvement in the process workflow and gather requirements from different stakeholders within client services and other departments when need be;

Envision new processes and methodologies to deploy the operations around client services in the cost accounting platforms of the Group;

Implement changes by following-up on the development of the Core Model (SAP) to ensure alignment of the business needs (requirements, timeline, budget) with the capability of the Information systems teams;

Transform and challenge the status quo by working on the continuous improvement of existing processes, methodologies and core model;

SYSTEM DEPLOYMENT

Analyse the as-is situation and contribute to developing and executing deployment strategies that take into account the different constraints within an initiative/project scope;

Monitor the deployment of processes and core model in client Services to ensure a smooth operation within each specific environment;

Provide support to client services on team processes, tools and methodologies, be it through an expertise location network or through simple process documentation;

KNOWLEDGE MANAGEMENT

Design acquisition and storage methods of knowledge (content nets - e.g. documentation, wikis; and process nets - e.g. flows, functionalities);

Help disseminate knowledge by delivering and assisting others to deliver learning trainings and workshops;

Contribute to the development of a knowledge sharing culture by actively promote best practices around processes and tools;

Activate cross-boundaries and interdepartmental knowledge by enabling synergies on delivery and support activities through a strong network of diverse interactions;

SKILLS

Master's degree in Business Management/ Finance /Accounting / Information Systems or equivalent

At least 5 years of relevant experience within the above vectors of activities is mandatory;

Consolidated knowledge of accounting and financial workflows is mandatory;

Systems appetency that reflects in a quick adaptation to new IT tools is a strong plus;

Knowledge of diverse SAP platforms is a strong plus;

Proficiency in Office tools Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio) is mandatory;

Analytical and problem solving oriented

Strong customer centricity allied with the ability to remain focused on the achievement of the organizational goals;

Ability to work under tight deadlines and with international locations

Knowledge of foreign languages : English (B2 Level, CECRL certificate) is mandatory, French (A2/B1 Level, CECRL certificate) is a plus
