The primary purpose of the Expert Leonardo Business Developers is to drive Leonardo Demand Generation program to position SAP Leonardo to our prospects and customers. They will provide leadership and drive the execution of growth plans across EMEA South for SAP Leonardo cross- industry and customer segment. The ultimate goal is to create new business and further develop opportunities through the support on the deal qualification and opportunity nurturing in the early sales cycle.
The focus of this position is to develop a strong engagement with Leonardo customers, ensure the highest level of satisfaction and support the Leonardo Customer reference program to track the exponential impact of SAP Leonardo in the customer’s business model.
EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
Support EMEA South Leonardo demand generation program and provide visibility on its execution
Interact and collaborate with senior executive management and multiple stakeholders within a matrix organization and virtual teams
Build sustainable relationships with senior stakeholders within the EMEA South GCO Sales organization
Play an active role in all aspects of problem solving including: identifying issues, forming hypotheses, designing and conducting analyses, drawing relevant conclusions, monitor execution and delivery of Leonardo demand generation and sales cycle programs
Support the account teams throughout the deal cycle for the new solutions
Cultivate key customers to become references for the new solution
Provide product-level feedback from customers and the Field organization into product management to further develop the new solution
May be required to travel to support customers and events in other Market Units.
Top communication skills in English are required.
Exposure and understanding of software sales cycles
Strong teaming skills
Public speaking and storytelling skills are essential. This will be both in “one to one” engagements and “one to many” events
Must be able to work across Industries
Must be able to research and network inside and outside SAP.
Must be passionate about working on the edge with innovative technologies and trends. Machine Learning, IoT, Blockchain,…
Must be able to understand the business impact of these technologies
Must have a solid technical understanding to assess the feasibility and best product fit of customer innovation requirements.
Must be expert on the value of SAP Digital Transformation Platform and its business impact.
Significant experience in enterprise software sales, sales enablement industry operations, corporate development.
Advanced understanding of SAP, its products and solutions, partners, markets and competition.
Strong knowledge of best business practices and financial theory and analysis.
Record of building strong customer relationships.
Fluency in Portuguese and English, any other language an asset.
