Your New Role Development and maintenance of Java-based backend applications using the Spring framework Design and implementation of RESTful web services and APIs Database design and optimisation Integration of external systems and services Carrying out code reviews and ensuring code quality Third-level support and performance optimisation Collaborating with other development teams and stakeholders to understand requirements and develop technical solutions What You'll Need Completed studies in computer science, business informatics or training in the IT environment Extensive experience in the development of Java-based backend applications Good knowledge of the Spring Framework, especially Spring Boot Experience with the development of RESTful web services and APIs Solid knowledge of the use of databases (SQL, Hibernate and JPA) Knowledge of microservices architecture and messaging systems (e.g. Apache Kafka, RabbitMQ) is an advantage Experience with cloud platforms (e.g. AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) desirable Strong problem-solving skills and a structured way of working Good knowledge of English and the ability to collaborate successfully in an agile environment At DACHSER, all people are welcome.
