With offices in Lisbon and Porto, we are a leading provider of consulting services, specializing in the management, implementation, development, and maintenance of information systems.Our expertise spans a wide range of industries, including banking, insurance, telecommunications, energy, transportation, and services, where we collaborate with over 150 active partners to deliver innovative, tailored solutions.At Aubay, we're committed to empowering businesses through digital transformation, offering cutting-edge technology and deep industry knowledge to drive success.What are you going to doSupport the API Architect team in guiding and supervising the full API lifecycle, ensuring alignment with governance models and security best practices.Review and validate API designs, helping teams follow internal standards and OpenAPI specifications.Evaluate security models for new APIs and recommend necessary improvements to align with organizational guidelines (OAuth2, OIDC, mTLS, FAPI, etc.
).Act as a facilitator across teams and projects to streamline the API lifecycle process and increase consistency.Promote the industrialization of API development, helping scale processes as the number of APIs grows.Act as a key point of contact for enforcing quality, value, and secure delivery of APIs.Contribute to the adoption and proper use of design tools, developer portals, and governance automation tools.
What are we looking forAt least 1 year of hands-on experience in API governance within large organizations, preferably with exposure to industrialization efforts.Solid 2+ years designing APIs with OpenAPI standards and defining robust security layers for APIs.Strong 5+ years working with APIs across different environments and use cases.Comfort working with API tools (design, linting, developer portals) and modern standards (OAS 3.X, JSON Schema, OAuth2, mTLS, FAPI).Familiarity with API Management platforms like WSO2, Apigee, or similar.Experience in handling authentication and authorization protocols and encryption frameworks.Strong communication skills in English; French is a plus.
